How to Play YouTube Playlists Without Ads

Headphones and a playlist workspace with AdsFreeTube logo

Start with the public playlist URL

Use the full public playlist URL rather than a copied title or a single video when the playlist itself is what you want to hear. Open the Online YouTube Player and paste the link. If the playlist is available, AdsFreeTube prepares a queue you can use for the session.

Choose how the queue should behave

Start with the track you need, then decide whether the order matters. A course or lecture series usually works best in sequence. Background music may work better with shuffle or repeat. The playlist controls guide explains repeat, shuffle, and track navigation.

Know the limits

A player can organize the tracks it receives, but it cannot restore an item that is private, removed, region-limited, or restricted by the original source. If the queue does not load, first confirm that the public playlist still opens on its original platform; then use our playlist troubleshooting guide.

Keep a focused session focused

For a timed listening block, pair a public playlist with the YouTube Sleep Timer. The timer controls the AdsFreeTube session, while availability remains dependent on the source and browser.
